Comments - We have taken to original map from the Massachusetts Archives and added tone around the edges to fit standard frame sizes.
We have removed unsightly "scotch tape" bands and made a few other adjustments to the original image so that the print will be closer to how it would have appeared in the 19th century. Some age marks have been left to preserve the antiquity. We have added some background tone to the margins of the original image so that the prints have an even rectangular look.
