ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!
Use this form to order maps which are not available on our store - including thousands of old USGS topo maps, Sanborn fire insurance maps, etc (from www.old-maps.com, Library of Congress, USGS, etc) - or to order non-standard sizes or B&W prints of any map that we sell.
Exact margin calculations are $20 extra. Enter the paper size and margins you require in the Paper Size field. Then for "If order cannot be completed as specified" please select "Email me" to add the $20.
More involved customizations (e.g. image editing) are available for a modest fee - please inquire by email.
For canvas prints, use our CANVAS custom order form.
Shipping: custom prints ship via UPS Ground in most cases, or USPS Priority Mail at our discretion.
PLEASE MAKE SURE that you have entered the correct source URL and print size before submitting your order. Your order will be CANCELED (with full refund) if we are unable to fulfill your order as specified. If you select the "use your judgement" option, your order may be fulfilled or canceled at the sole discretion of the employee printing it - NO REFUNDS for incorrect sizing! If you are not sure about something, please email us before ordering.
General Information & Disclaimers -
- Most of our maps are reproductions of old maps. Due to the age of the original maps, many contain mild defects (ink markings, cracks, small holes, etc.)
- Map color: no map will look identical to what you see on your computer monitor. Please be aware that the shade will likely be a bit different than what you see.
- Note that prints smaller than the original size may be difficult to read, while the larger print sizes may appear fuzzy when viewed up close.
- Print sizes and margins may vary (especially for the more obscure reprints and town/village map excerpts.)
- Frames are NOT included - plan to purchase one AFTER receiving and measuring your print.
- We DO NOT accept returns, as our maps are printed on demand. We only offer replacements/refunds for shipping damage or mistakes on our part. Please review your selection carefully before purchase to ensure satisfaction with your order.
