Product Description
The 2017 Railroad Calendar for Franklin County Massachusetts with 13 delightful pictures of old train stations, locomotives and railroad scenes is ready for your viewing pleasure! This is the 10th train calendar we have made for this rural county centered on Greenfield, Massachusetts. Greenfield sits at the intersection of two historic rail lines - the north-south Boston and Maine Railroad, and the east-west Fitchburg Railroad which connected Boston to Albany NY. Each of our 13 pictures has commentary by railroad historian Alden Dreyer. Our photos are from several sources, notably the remarkable collections of Greenfield historian Peter Miller.
Finished size 8 1/2 x 11. Printed in color on glossy "cover-stock" paper with a punch hole for wall hanging.
We like to describe this publication as a "picture book disguised as a calendar".
Our calendars have become collectors items for many area railroad buffs. We print about 400 calendars per year.
